dangerous. the road was reopened about four hours later. second time this week icy weather forced the grapevine to closed. for now expected to remain open. and cold weather has citrus growers to the south scrambling to save their crops. one grower says any fruit left on the trees this weekend could be ruined by subfreezing weather and could harvest only 30% of his oranges before the temperature plunged. >> everybody in the citrus business is worried. you enjoy the great times and you suffer through the bad times. >> his grove is just a small part of california's $2 billion citrus industry and also an economic reality. physical the freeze destroys his crop, he won't be the only one who takes a hit. a public memorial for a teen whose body was found in the

snow. hundreds of people turned out. many of them wearing pink which was her favorite color. she grew impatient waiting for a bus and set out alone to walk to her hotel but took a wrong turn. her death is a warning to her friends to buddy up and don't go off by themselves in unfamiliar places. authorities have identified the body of a man found in a recycling center. the sheriff's office says the body of 30-year-old lewis gomez diaz was found early friday afternoon. there are no obvious signs of trauma but they are calling the death suspicious. looks like his body was in a dumpster that was emptied by a recycling truck. he was last seen in santa rosa on thursday. big crowds and long lines as the nation's largest producer of gun shows brings its big event to the bay area.

repeating. go into monday or tuesday, the air quality continues to deteriorate. only had 3 days so far. last year we already had 11. we're doing okay. >> take note. thank you so much. for the second time in a week a pilot walks away from an aviation mishap. the 56-year-old pilot was flying in on business. he had no idea his landing gear was still up until he hit the run way. the man was the only person on board and didn't need medical attention. the accident closed the airport until the plane could be moved. that incident comes a week after this one. the small plane overshot the run way and nose down in a pond. the pilot and passenger walked away unhurt. the pilot may have been going too fast when he tried to land.
